Solution to Waste Management

Introduction:

Waste management refers to actions and various activities required for the management of wastes and to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle waste over and above waste disposal.

Problem:

 

Plastic wastes are more concerned in the field of waste management and the main reason behind is their non-biodegradable nature, their break down into smaller components polymer chains occur only  at very high temperatures and recycling processes require some chemicals. It accounts for about 70% of the total waste all around.

Solution:

The new innovative idea to tackle this problem can be the use of Plastic Bricks in the construction industry. Plastic drinking bottles can be converted into eco-friendly building bricks. By this plastic bottles can be reused and can act as alternatives for the traditional kind of clay bricks. These kinds of bricks can be used in structures and pavements. It can be more economical. These can be thinner and lighter and can have superb noise absorbing properties with great insulation against heat. It can also solve a major issue in the field of civil engineering i.e. dampness in walls. Plastic bricks do not hold any moisture and dampness is avoided for long. 

 

Conclusion:

Plastic wastes are non-biodegradable and can reuse instead of disposed of, hence can be used for making Plastic Bricks in the construction sector. Plastic bricks have many advantages over traditional bricks. In this way, it can be profitable to both sides as plastic wastes are reused and in the same way advantageous to the construction Sector.
